Kingston Road is closed from Monday 17 November for one week in two sections. Annoyingly, it remains unclear online, which sections are closed when, but I can confirm that it is currently closed South Bound at the crossroads of corkscrew lane and hope corner lane. It had been widely reported that Kingston Road would also be closed between Gladstone Street and Salisbury Street?
Therefore, if travelling from A38, North Petherton, Bridgwater, M5 or anywhere South of the Station, travel through Priorswood to Cheddon Road and turn into Wellsprings Road. At the end of Wellsprings Road, turn Right onto Kingston Road and gthen left into turner Road.
If approaching from Kingston St Mary, turn right onto Corkscrew Lane then first left into Clifford Avenue. At the bottom of Clifford Avenue, turn left onto Turner Road.
All routes will be busier than normal to accommodate additional traffic using the diversion so please allow additional travel time.
